Requisition ID# 162563 Job Category: Compliance / Risk / Quality Assurance Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Finance Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland Department Overview The SOX Compliance department is responsible for overseeing the effective design and operating effectiveness of the company's internal control over financial reporting and acts in a consultative capacity as a business partner and financial controls expert to the entire organization. The SOX Compliance team plans and manages the company's annual SOX Compliance Program. Position Summary The Senior SOX Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring adequately designed internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) are in place to mitigate risks in materially significant business processes in scope for SOX. While in this role, you will facilitate the documentation and maintenance of SOX business processes & ICFR, assess the design & operating effectiveness of ICFR, provide controls guidance for business changes, identify business process control deficiencies, provide guidance to business partners developing remediation plans, monitor the status of remediation, and coordinate work with the external auditors. The role is hybrid working from your remote office and in-person in the Oakland General Office, on average 1-3 days a week based on business need or company requirements. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill beplaced between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors. This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
