Summary
Responsible to lead contract team in the interpretation and formulation of contracts, and supports team members in understanding policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards. Facilitates effective implementation of contract responsibilities within program objectives and requirements. Reviews and resolves the most complex issues and contracts. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Negotiate agreements with vendors ensuring timely completion, accurate terms and market competitive rates. -Build strategies to reach contract and savings targets in line with organizational expense management objectives -Deliver savings, risk mitigation, and operational efficiencies as a result of successful contract negotiations -Provides advice and guidance to the various contracts team members regarding contract development and negotiations. -Create, edit and review the most complex contracts. -Assist management in the development of goals and objectives for the contracts team. -Find opportunities to improve business processes and/or savings opportunities and devise plans to implement these changes -Participate in RFP evaluation, market analyses, contract negotiation and contract execution Education
