The Information Technology Client Solutions Team consists of two distinct units: the Client Solutions Technicians and the Endpoint Administrators. This cohesive team is dedicated to delivering tier 2 and tier 3 support to faculty and staff members. Their expertise encompasses a wide range of technology-related issues, specifically those pertaining to UNCW owned endpoints used by faculty and staff. The Client Solution Technicians provide hands-on technical support to the end-users for their designated endpoint. The Endpoint Administrators focus on endpoint management and the security of those endpoints.

The Linux Endpoint Administrator and Technician plays a pivotal role in enhancing service delivery and expanding offerings for campus constituents. This position encompasses three primary responsibilities:

Graduation from a two year technical college with a major in computer science, information technology or related area and one year in the information technology field related to the position's role; or graduation from a four year college or university and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or graduation from a four year college or university with a major in computer science or information technology or related degree. Related information technology experience may be substituted year for year for the required education.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math, Engineering or other related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and four years progressive experience in the field of information technology including at least two years of experience in Business and Technology Applications related work.
