National Grid is hiring a Senior Analyst for our NE Gas Programs in Waltham, MA. Analyze data and activities to provide relevant and up to date information to support decision-making and the effective working of National Grid. Collaborate across various NE Gas teams as well as external stakeholders to provide analytical support to ensure program commitments are developed and performed as required. Maintain & monitor databases related to corrosion analysis that help support regulatory requirements. This role is heavily compliance driven and will support all of NE Gas Programs with primary focus on Corrosion. Job Purpose
To provide analysis for the development and delivery of standardized end-to-end processes while driving for consistency across all operating companies with specific efforts to improve efficiency and leverage best practices. Key Accountabilities
* Track and issue daily/weekly/monthly Atmospheric Corrosion inspections and repairs. * Ensures accurate data entry and reporting of inspections in PCS. * Support Work Order processes as necessary and follow up to ensure timely completion. * Support cross-departmental reporting, data validation, metrics, and executive reporting (ex. Inspections and repairs) in accordance with all compliance requirements. * Work with internal and external stakeholders ensuring there's alignment with scheduled work orders to meet target compliance dates. * Process invoices upon request (including detail tracking as required) and keep track of accounting in PowerBI. * Monitor and review information, updating where necessary to identify any anomalies or discrepancies and ensure management has access to up to date and accurate information in PowerBI. * Monitor planning and performance activities related to work orders to manage timelines and work with the team to mitigate any risks. * Able to analyze multiple sources of data and sees multiple relationships between those sources of data, identifying likely or root causes. * Independently collate and analyze work unit and/or financial data within one or multiple areas using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats to support the department's decision-making process. * Assist with collection of data used for regulatory reporting of damages and metrics for jurisdictional reporting. * Create and update relevant job aids and procedures in sharepoint. * Take personal responsibility for correcting problems promptly. * Develop and maintain standard reporting in Power BI to support compliance requirements. * Seek to continuously improve performance processes across programs. * Ability to work in a co-operative manner with Third Party Contractors, and Internal stakeholders. * Ability to gain knowledge of National Grid's business operations, company policies and practices. * Superior organizational capabilities required to prioritize effort as there will frequently be multiple activities underway at any one time. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of working experience with PowerBI is required. * Proficient in, Excel, Power Point, Maximo, Microsoft Word. * 3+ years of analytical skills. * Strong analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills. * Cross train with other team members to support professional development.
