Estate Analysts Manager
Serve as a subject matter expert in the estate settlement and administration, leading and overseeing a team of approximately 13 -- 15 estate analysts who are responsible to support estate settlement officers by conducting a variety of functions such as mashalling, valuing and safeguarding assets, amongst other duties. This manager, in addition to leading the estate analyst team, may also be responsible to administer a small book of estate administration accounts.
Position Responsibilities:
Fiduciary Administration, Oversight & Governance
- Provide strategic input to drive more efficient process execution for asset marshalling, valuing, safeguarding and asset distribution to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with colleagues, beneficiaries, and partners, providing strategic advisory services and resolving disputes related to routine estate settlements.
- Foster / mentor team to act as trusted estate team members ensuring duties are conducted in a manner to foster beneficiary satisfaction through personalized service and to ensure robust Estate Officer support.
- Establish expectations and metrics that ensure the highest quality, timeliness, and efficiency of core duties, client service and compliance with legal requirements.
Revenue and Growth -- Financial Performance and Sales
- Ensure efficient allocation of estate analyst resources and achievement of financial targets to help support the broader specialty wealth and trust organization objectives.
- Support Estate Settlement Unit Manager to collaborate with sales teams and partners to expand awareness of capabilities and grow revenue.
- Monitor industry trends and developments and drive efforts to tailor / update service offerings as needed to keep the estate settlement team and offerings competitive.
- Ensure account fees are set up correctly to charge the proper fees.
Operational / Risk Responsibilities
- Participate in reviews of estate settlement cases to identify and mitigate risks and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Establish and maintain robust policies and procedures for estate settlements to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies for estate settlements.
- Guide the team in applying enterprise risk management frameworks to estate settlement accounts.
Leadership and Management
- Support the recruiting, training, and mentoring of estate analysts to ensure high performance, professional growth, and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
- Monitor and manage the performance of estate analysts, ensuring high levels of service and professional growth.
- Ensure team members are knowledgeable and conduct duties in accordance with policies and procedures, governing documents, and the law.
- Support Estate Settlement Unit Manager to foster collaboration amongst officers and analysts, serving as a role model and subject matter expert.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 4 years of experience in estate administration
- 2 years of experience in leadership
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
