Our Supply Chain & Operations Business Process Center of Excellence builds and maintains the tooling and frameworks vital to support Viasat's business transformation journeys. You will become a member of a team that is dedicated to achieve a groundbreaking intelligent operation and is motivated to push the boundaries and face new challenges head-on. The architectural elements relied upon to optimize our operations network is a sophisticated, complex system that is always in flux. We develop capability models and use process management principles to drive value for the business by bridging the gap between strategic objectives and how we execute reliably across the people, process, and technology portfolios.

The team partners closely with different members of the business, like domain experts and leaders, for regular feedback and alignment of business objectives or requirements. Our relationship with program management is key to push successful implementation of major improvements and the use of resources most efficiently. We also rely on many joint efforts with our enterprise architecture and technology practices to establish and govern new standards and guidelines for policies and tools. It is our duty to act as one team at Viasat and collaborate across departments to continuously innovate how we operate and scale the business to bring greater value to our customers.

• Collaborate with business partners to collect and outline business needs and possibilities
• Inspect business artifacts, like business capabilities, processes, value streams, etc. for conformity to standards and accuracy
• Develop and improve process flows and standard operating procedures
• Build workflows used to simplify process and governance
• Champion digital transformations & process improvement efforts
• Analyze and supervise the efficiency of implemented solutions through process performance indicators and present return on investment findings to leaders
• Regularly conduct business capability maturity assessments with the help of business influencers across operations and supply chain domains
• Partner with change agents and leaders to ensure they have the relevant information to sponsor initiatives
• Streamline business models and guidelines used by the team
• Identify trends and patterns in data collected across operational domains

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher between May 2023 - August 2025 in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business/IT, Supply Chain or related field
• US Citizenship is required
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Learn cloud tools and software quickly
• Basic project management skills to meet milestones and timelines
• Able to work in multifaceted environments with changing business requirements
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating in cross functional teams
• Motivated to put themselves in slightly uncomfortable situations to find new areas of growth
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools like LeanIX
• Experience with business process documentation tools like Signavio, Blueworks, or Visio
• Experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Understanding of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles
• Comfortable with project or task management tools like Jira and Monday.com
