Overview

The Sr. Manager, Strategic Development will support major projects across the whole of Internova Travel group to drive revenue growth, efficiencies and successful integration of future acquisitions. The role will also be a key part of the Internova Consulting & Analytics team, providing consulting, data and research services to partners.

This role will have a hybrid work schedule. 3 days a week in our mid-town Manhattan office, and 2 days a week work at home.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Responsibilities

Internal Consultant Responsibilities:

    Support divisions, functions and partner relations in advisory capacity on identifying new growth opportunities, analysing those opportunities, building business plans and successfully executing against those plans
    • Collaborate with leaders in all areas to identify opportunities to grow and expand their revenue and services they offer
    • Build detailed plans and manage execution of projects, including hands on work when necessary to ensure success
  • Collaborate with divisional & functional leaders in an advisory capacity to identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements and cost reduction, and then support execution of those opportunities
    • Collaborate with functional & division management teams to generate ideas for improvements
    • Analyse potential improvements and build plans for execution
    • Support team in execution of those opportunities and keep senior management up to date on progress
  • Support on integration of future acquisitions through managing integration projects and identifying opportunities for value creation

Internova Consulting & Analytics Responsibilities:

  • This is a new team that provides consulting, data and research services to our partners
    • Define and execute consumer research, including running and analyzing surveys, conducting expert interviews, putting together case studies and analysis of internal data for external customers. One example of this would be the annual Internova Index.
    • Work with existing clients to ensure retention and work with potential new clients on the products we have available and managing the compliance process


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of consulting and project management experience.
  • Strong communications skills - verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills & financial acumen
  • Strong project management skills
  • High willingness to adapt and learn new technical skills
  • Demonstrated comfort with structuring ambiguity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interest in the travel industry
