Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) contract, supporting the USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division located at Lackland AFB, TX.

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

JOB STATUS: Full-time; salaried

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Master's or doctorate degree and 10 years of relevant experience, of which 5 or more must be in DoD; or 12 years in lieu of MA/MS, of which 5 or more years must be in DoD; or 15 years relevant experience in lieu of degree, of which 8 must be in DoD.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• DoD acquisition experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide system engineering, support, & training for offensive cyber programs and initiatives, including acquisition, development, integration, test & evaluation, sustainment, evolution, deployment, and operations oversight
• Conduct reviews on program portfolio improving systems engineering programs/processes assuring performance is achieved IAW approved specifications.
• Define and specify new capabilities tailored to customer's mission needs
• Prepare technical documents which define, specify, and recommend system/subsystem characteristics.
• Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective actions
• Perform system validation, including criteria development/procedures
• Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with USAF processes
