Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding

    • Assist in job postings on internal and external platforms.
    • Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
    • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process, including new hire orientation and documentation.
    • Employee Records Management

      • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
      • Ensure compliance with recordkeeping regulations.
      • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
      • Payroll and Benefits Administration

        • Support the processing of payroll by collecting and verifying employee time records.
        • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
        • Coordinate with vendors regarding employee benefits programs.
        • Compliance and Policy Implementation

          • Ensure company policies comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.
          • Assist with audits and preparation of reports for compliance purposes.
          • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
          • Employee Relations

            • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
            • Support the resolution of workplace conflicts.
            • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities.
            • Training and Development

              • Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
              • Track employee progress in training programs.
              • General Administrative Support

                • Prepare HR-related reports and presentations.
                • Manage correspondence, appointments, and meetings for the HR department.
                • Support other HR functions and projects as needed.

                Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

                • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
                • licensure and certification requirements;
                • office location and other geographic considerations;
                • other business and organizational needs.

                With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
