Position Details The Transportation Driver is responsible for assuring scheduled transportation is implemented appropriately and timely with resident safety and security the primary priority. Drivers will be responsible for keeping the vehicles and equipment maintained, ensuring the vehicle has necessary supplies and timely completion of shift forms. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: * Must be 21 years of age and have good driving record * IDD experience preferred * Pass annual physical and T.B. test. * Maintain current CPR and First Aid for duration of employment. * Knowledge of safe driving practices and procedures; follows all vehicle and road laws when driving Company vehicle. * Possess current valid CA Driver's License and have reliable source of transportation. * Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the philosophy and approach to resident care and passenger safety. * Ability to react calmly and effectively in difficult situations. * Must maintain professional appearance and attitude * Maintain clean driving record.
