Job Overview: This position will lead and manage the Engineered to Order (ETO) team that processes customer orders of new and special mechanical equipment and systems. This position will be directly responsible for creating and modifying standard work and processes to facilitate the efficient processing of special orders. In addition, this position will be the customer's point of contact quoting and processing projects and large orders. Responsibilities: 1. Provide direction and leadership to the ETO team of engineers and designers. 2. Create and modify robust standard work that provides clear rules and direction. 3. Administer the queue of incoming tasks by assigning the appropriate resource and setting promise dates and priorities. 4. Liaise with sales, customers, and internal team to adjust task priorities as needed. 5. Collect, monitor, and display leading and lagging process metrics to indicate the status of the process. 6. Review gaps between metric goals and results and adjust the process to close these gaps 7. Provide appropriate equipment and tools to the team for optimum productivity. 8. Provide technical information assistance to customers, helping them select the proper products for their applications. 9. Manage and run Impact Daily Management (IDM) meeting for YZ commercial team. 10. Manage and quote projects related to the processing of large and complex customer orders. 11. Lead value engineering and Innovate to Value (I2V) initiative for YZ. Manage, compile, and report out on all I2V projects and metrics. 12. Administrator and SME for YZ drawing repositories, Adept and Windchill. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree * 5+ years of experience * Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects as connection between external customer and production facility * Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and members from other departments * Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and develop the competency of the employee * Proven written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating horizontally and vertically across all levels of complex organizations * Demonstrated results-minded performance in delivering on targets * Demonstrated organizational skill, awareness and self-discipline to deliver on commitments * Experience with standard Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) required Travel & Work Arrangements: * Up to 10% domestic.
