Job Scope:

The Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections Analyst will play a critical role in the financial health of our organization, focusing particularly on credit risk. They will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit, as well as managing and reviewing customers' portfolios health.

Key Responsibilities and Duties



  • Interacts with customers and business managers on a daily basis to optimize sales while mitigating risk, improving cash flow, and reducing receivables with a focus on maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Conducts credit assessments and reviews for existing customers to determine creditworthiness, set appropriate credit limits and credit terms utilizing sales, forecast, and payment history information.
  • Analyze credit applications and data utilizing credit reporting agencies and financial statements to identify credit worthiness, potential risks and make recommendations for credit limits for new customers.
  • Collaborate closely with business managers to understand individual customer needs and requirements.
  • Foster a positive working relationships and communication within all departments across the organization.
  • Maintains customer credit limits and payment terms in ERP.
  • Work within the assigned collection portfolio to issue dunning notices and calls for past due invoices.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to report on the financial health of team portfolios.
  • Create presentation materials on analysis results, findings, and recommendations.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual risk and business performance reports.
  • Assist in the completion of month-end close reporting.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable Manager in resolving escalated collections cases.
  • Work on special credit, treasury projects and other duties, as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years in Accounts receivable experience
  • 2+ years in Credit and Collections Analyst experience
  • 1+ years Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with credit analysis portals such as Dun & Bradstreet, Experian, etc.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent skills in oral and written communication
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to approach complex business problems and formulate solutions
  • Detailed oriented, organized and has strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and interact with customers and internal departments to resolve issues while maintaining positive customer relations
  • Must be capable of working both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Salesforce experience (preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office programs, particularly Excel)
  • Experience and understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, S4 Hana) standard Source-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash (preferred).
