Mortgage Title Clerk

Advantage Resourcing is seeking an experienced Mortgage Title Clerk to join our team in Monroe, LA! This temp-to-hire opportunity is a great way to get your foot in the door with our premier client. Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM | $15 - $17 per hour

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with titles in mortgage.
• A strong understanding of real estate title concepts, legal principles, and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in title software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).

Mortgage Title Clerk Job Duties

Review and analyze title reports, deeds, and liens to verify ownership and identify issues. Resolve title defects, coordinate with legal teams, and facilitate title transfers by preparing and processing documents and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, performing quality checks to ensure compliance, and staying updated on title regulations. Additionally, provide status updates to stakeholders, implement improvements to streamline processes, and prepare reports on title transactions and trends for management.
