Job Overview / Summary (What and Why):
The IRC hosts over 30 events annually, many of which support IRC donors and supporters. The annual Global Rescue Dinner is the largest fundraising event of the year.
In partnership with the Senior Director of Experiential Marketing, Senior Event Officers, Fundraising Officers, and Data and Analytics teams, this person will manage all internal components of donor engagement, systems management, and tracking for IRC's signature fundraising event, as well as other fundraising events throughout the year.
This role will focus on data integrity, fundraising strategy, and event production. The person in this role will be responsible for thoughtful and responsive communication with internal teams, managing fundraising and event data and systems, and supporting the execution of solicitation processes.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Implementation of all fundraising activity, tracking progress and sharing updates regularly with key Global Rescue Dinner Project team members.
2. Work with the Event team members and Fundraising team members to maintain a lucrative event fundraising strategy.
3. Be responsible for on solicitation process and other external facing communication processes for fundraising and donor engagement around the Global Rescue Dinner and other fundraising event opportunities.
4. Work closely with Data Analytics and Account Managers to enter, track and update fundraising strategies, asks and gifts through Salesforce.
5. Lead on administrative support on preparation and mailing of fundraising correspondence, and timely input of fundraising data into Salesforce.
6. Coordinate with the Prospect Research team on donor research, and creation of event bios.

Other Internal and/or external:
Internal: Collaborate with the HV teams on solicitation and cultivation materials, invitations and tracking.
Impact of Work: Responsible for coordinating with HV fundraising teams and data and analytics for the implementation of fundraising and donor engagement, and ensuring data quality for reporting of Rescue Dinner.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Work Experience:
Minimum: 2-3 years dynamically responsible experience in not-for-profit fundraising
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Minimum: Excellent oral and written communications skills. Creative problem solving. Interpersonal Skills. Ability to work independently.
Preferred: Proficiency in Excel and Salesforce.

Working Environment:
This role may require working remotely full- or part-time (i.e., telecommuting). Applicants must have a home or alternate workspace they can effectively complete their work from during regularly scheduled hours.
Compensation:
Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
