Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Cheese Feeder Operator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of cheese-feeding machinery in the plant. This role involves monitoring, operating, and maintaining equipment to meet production targets while ensuring production quality and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

• Key responsibilities for this position include:
  Set up, operate, and monitor cheese feeding machinery to ensure proper flow and consistent quality.
• Adjust machine settings to accommodate product specifications and production schedules
• Load cheese blocks, slices, or other formats into the feeding equipment as per production requirements.
• Ensure raw materials are stocked and available to prevent downtime.
• Inspect cheese for defects, temperature, and consistency before and during processing.
• Perform routine quality checks to meet product standards and specifications.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance on the feeding equipment to minimize downtime
• Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team and assist with repairs if required.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure the machinery operates within safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of the equipment and work area in compliance with sanitation standards.
• Record production data, including quantities, machine settings, and any deviations from the standard process.
• Complete shift logs and report operational issues to supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent years of experience
• Previous experience in food production or operating machinery (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
