The UCR School of Medicine Biomedical Sciences Department is a dynamic academic unit dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge through cutting-edge research and education. It plays a critical role in training future scientists and physicians, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and contributing to the School of Medicine's mission to improve healthcare in underserved communities. Faculty and staff work together to enhance education, research, and community engagement, driving progress in biomedical research and medical education.

The Senior Financial & Administrative Analyst applies advanced financial and administrative expertise to support the Department of Biomedical Sciences. The position encompasses a full range of financial analysis, budgetary oversight, and administrative coordination. The incumbent utilizes an in-depth understanding of organizational policies, industry best practices, and departmental needs to independently resolve complex issues. With a demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, this role selects appropriate methods and techniques to implement solutions, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional goals.

The incumbent works under general supervision, develops and refines processes for fiscal management, and provides strategic support to leadership, contributing to the department's operational efficiency and long-term financial health. This is a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days at the UCR campus and 2 days remote.

The full salary range for the Senior Financial & Administrative Analyst is $66,500 - $118,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $100,000 annually.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
