  • Location: Mid-America, Great Lakes, or Midwest Region (Remote)

  • Reports to: National Standard Onsite Reliability Manager

  • Travel: 50-60% (including overnights)

  • Pay: $30-32/hour

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Job Description Summary:The FLOXAL Reliability Service Technician is a crucial member of our FLOXAL Reliability team, responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient installation, maintenance, and servicing of Onsite nitrogen generation plants. This role combines fieldwork with technical expertise to meet operational and safety standards, complying with federal, state/provincial, and local codes, as well as Airgas policies.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety in all operations and activities.

  • Promote a culture of safety within the team.

  • Monitor the performance of the FLOXAL fleet, ensuring all units operate efficiently.

  • Report any cases of performance degradation to the Field Service Manager (FSM) for prompt action.

  • Analyze operational details and follow up on action items to ensure accountability and progress.

  • Conduct periodic audits focused on safety compliance, preventive maintenance (PM), site conditions, and operational efficiency.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals to guide maintenance and troubleshooting efforts.

  • Collaboration with Management

  • Collaborate with regional management teams to ensure that preventive maintenance programs are completed, aligning with the company's strategic quality and efficiency goals.

  • Support Installation: Assist in the installation of Floxal systems at customer sites.

  • On-Site Maintenance: Perform on-site installation and maintenance of nitrogen generation equipment.

  • Electrical Repairs: Analyze and undertake general repairs to electrical systems connected to N2 generation and cryogenic installations, including motor controls, relays, and alarm systems.

  • PLC operations: Be able to perform PLC configurations and changes to enhance plant performance.

  • Piping System Expertise: Execute mechanical installations following company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Preventative Maintenance: Assist in executing routine preventative maintenance tasks on N2 generation equipment according to the maintenance schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Trade school certification.

  • Fundamental mechanical skills.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of industrial field service experience, with a preference for experience in bulk cryogenic or gas generation systems.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, P&ID, layout drawings, design specifications, manufacturer drawings, and architectural drawings relevant to bulk delivery sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HVAC or refrigeration certification, electrical experience, or ASSE Medical Gas Credentials are advantageous.

  • Understands and operated electronic test equipment such as signal generators, Hart communicators, and electrical measurement devices.

  • Proficiency in welding and brazing processes, especially silver brazing, is a plus.

  • Knowledge and understanding of cryogenic equipment and gases
