Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator (Simulation Technician) of the ISU/ IDCFS Child Protection Training Academy (CPTA) Simulations will provide technical support, organizational management, assistance with classroom management, and support for the ongoing functions of simulation education.


Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$29-$32/hour, commensurate with experience

Required Qualifications

1. Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
2.Experience using enterprise-level communication/scheduling/clerical software (MS Outlook and MS Teams environment)
3. Working knowledge of video and audio equipment.
4. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting.
5. Demonstrated organizational skills in a professional setting.
6. Experience managing, organizing, and backing up digital filetypes on physical and/or cloud-based platforms
7. Experience troubleshooting basic PC audio/video issues (hardware, software, settings, signal flow, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with setting up and operating video conferencing using virtual platforms.
2. Experience working within an academic, non-profit, or human service setting.


Work Hours

Varies; occasional evening and weekend work may be required.


Functional Expectations

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods
2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
