Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $160,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The salary range listed is for base compensation only and may be adjusted depending on qualifications and experience. The salary range does not include variable compensation and is subject to the individual department compensation plan. The PMHNPs will serve in a unique role providing clinical care to patients settings such as our nurse led mobile clinic or in refugee health or in a community clinic setting. All faculty in practice are required to also participate in clinical teaching activities, typically precepting, for SON students and fellows, and scholarship or clinical research activities. * The incumbent NPs will serve as members of the nurse led mobile clinic or in other parts of our growing faculty practice. They will have recognized clinical expertise in the psych-mental health advanced practice services. In the clinical practice environment, they will work under the direction of the Clinic leadership in a team-based care environment, precept learners in the clinic, and will also report to the Associate Dean for Practice for practice related issues. This position may also have teaching responsibilities as assigned in the SON programs (DNP-FNP, PhD, MEPN, and PA programs), reporting to the Associate Dean for Academics. The position will also be responsible for developing and/or collaborating in and disseminating scholarly activities and/or research in their areas of interest. Part-time and full-time, non-tenured positions at the Assistant and Associate rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) Series or full-time Clinical X Series are available at UC Davis Health, which is located on a modern, 140-acre campus in Sacramento, California. The Sacramento campus is home to the School of Nursing, School of Medicine, UC Davis Medical Center (including a level-I trauma center and burn unit, and a full range of outpatient services), a fully accredited Children's Hospital, and an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The budgeted salary range for this position is $145,000 to $165,000. Assistant or Associate salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or AND plus doctoral degree (e.g. PhD, DNP, EdD) preferred or master's degree required. The candidate must meet the following qualifications: * Minimum of masters degree in nursing or related field, doctoral degree preferred, with PMHNP certification and or/equivalent combination of experience/training.
