Outreach and Response Specialist The University of Pittsburgh's Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion is seeking a qualified candidate for fill the role as an Outreach and Response Specialist. The Outreach and Response Specialist is responsible for providing front line response to individuals impacted by incoming reports of harassment, discrimination or retaliation, which include all forms of harassment and discrimination, including sexual misconduct (sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating or domestic violence, and stalking). Front line response will generally include assessing the need for interim measures, facilitating referrals, coordinating information with the assigned Specialist, and other triage needs. This position will also assist with supporting outreach and awareness activities sponsored by the office and other duties as assigned. Job Summary Serves as a contact for government inquiries regarding anti-discrimination laws, regulations, and requirements. Assists and collaborates on case management and responds to inquiries and reports of discrimination and harassment. Analyzes and maintains reports, case records, and other files regarding compliance. Essential Functions Manage intake reports. Respond daily to reports of discrimination and harassment. Review responses with supervisor. Update case management system daily. Assisting with case management, including providing notes on intake, assist with educational meeting scheduling, tracking outcomes, distributing climate surveys, and providing educational modules when needed. Track and maintain case records. Provide timely case tracking reports. Physical Effort Duties are primarily sedentary. Must be able to use a computer at a desk or similar workstation, and travel to on-campus meetings as needed.
