WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: - Prepares product buildings for performance testing by setting up a test workstation, connecting temporary power cables and ensuring workplace electrical safety prior to applying electrical energy.
- Performs testing duties as part of a team to correlate electrical equipment operational performance with associated TCC documentation.
- Locates and reviews the building construction drawing set then begins an orderly/structured sequence of component/equipment ON/OFF cycles of manual, automatic and interface operations related to each.
- Perform tests for continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as volt/ohmmeter.
- Marks correlated drawing segments and records data and checklists on Compliance Control (TCC) packet to indicate the successful completion of each component test.
- If necessary, troubleshoots any discovered performance deficiencies, analyze results and determine cause of failure, then engages Lead Electrician for immediate corrective action(s).
- Advises Lead Electrician of performance deficiencies and if necessary, instructs the Electrician on a corrective action.
- At the completion of all performance testing, assists the team with application of notification labeling, creating the ship loose itemized list, and preparing/labeling ship loose items for transport. Assist with photo documentation as required.
- Possesses the ability to effectively interact with Supervisors, leads and crew members in efforts to understand and complete designated tasks.
- Develops and delivers necessary Quality training to team members on installation policies and standards; as well as, troubleshooting as set forth by Trachte for quality and consistency.
- Create/edit QMS documents and procedures. Perform audits per schedule.
- Perform in-process audits - quality at the source.
- Assist with Calibration Program.
- Participate in Quality Metric / KPI reviews including Final Inspection, Issue Escalation and Warranty Claims.
YOU HAVE: - High school graduate and 5+ years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the installation of electrical wiring and equipment relating to manufacturing or the construction trade.
- State of Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and apply basic mathematics, basic algebra and geometry concepts.
- Abilities to work in a manufacturing production environment.
