Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist assists in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment, and functions as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $62.72 - $62.72 (Hourly Rate).

Department Description

Clinical Systems is responsible for all aspects of the Electronic Health Record (APeX) and other clinical and infrastructure applications for UCSF Health hospitals, practices, affiliates and community partners.

Required Qualifications


  • High School diploma; or equivalent experience
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Graduate of Surgical Technologist Training Program; or equivalent experience
  • The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations

Preferred Qualifications


  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Scrub experience in at least one of the following services: Ophthalmology, OHNS, Robotics, Urology, Gynecology, OMFS, Plastics

License/Certification


  • Current CPR Certification
