As a Tax Manager at Forvis Mazars, you value working closely with others to plan for the future and to help a variety of nonprofit organizations avoid surprises, coordinate tax strategies, and grow. You will provide authentic support to your teammates and clients and communicate regularly with them to understand their businesses and industries. How you will contribute:

  • Providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to tax-exempt organizations with an emphasis on higher education institutions, associations, healthcare entities, social service organizations, and grant-making foundations including private foundations.
  • Helping to develop, build and manage client relationships
  • Representing Forvis Mazars in the professional and business community
  • Participating in the proposal process for prospective clients
  • Contributing to Forvis Mazars-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publication and internal learning and development.
  • Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements
  • A strong sense of ownership for delivering ultra-responsive Client Service
  • Excellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years or more of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax including technical tax consulting and research
  • 3-5 years of experience working with 990 forms
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA license
