We are seeking a skilled and motivated Land Surveyor to join our team in Prairie du Chien. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and a strong background in land surveying principles and practices. You will play a crucial role in supporting various civil engineering projects across Wisconsin, ensuring accurate measurements and data collection to facilitate successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land surveys to establish property boundaries, topographic features, and construction layouts.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed survey drawings, reports, and legal descriptions.
  • Utilize surveying instruments and software for data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to support project development.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to surveying practices.
  • Mentor and train junior survey staff, providing guidance and support.


Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin Land Surveyor license (or ability to obtain within six months) is preferred but not required
  • Associates's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in a civil engineering environment.
  • Proficient in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GPS technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
