- Assist sales and clientson technical, procedural, and commercial needs to ensurereliable performance of our applications and full customer satisfaction
- Represent nVent in engineering design discussions with, for example, clients and sub-contractors
- Resolving reported failures within the warranty period and supporting customers for failures outside the warranty period
- Organizinginterested partiesto resolve warranty cases as the need arises
- Provide product training to partners and installers, including product orientation to potential installers. Ability to run technical training
- Ensuring that installation instructions arebeing adhered to by installers
- To write technical reports and field reports
- Variable working environments, with frequent requirements to enter commercial and manufacturing plants requiring protective safety equipment (safety shoes and glasses). This functionrequiresthe use of hand tools and a brazing torch with occasional work in confined spaces
YOU HAVE:
- Ideally 5+ years of previous experience in delivering product/technical training/working with power distribution and/or heat tracing or commercial/ industrial applications and/or control and monitoring
- Must be able to relocate to the greater Philadelphia area within 90 days if located outside of greater Philadelphia
- Must be able to work from a home office in the Philadelphia area and travel 25-80% of the time across the US to job sites if needed
- Validated experience as an electrical technician or electrician, with knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
- Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification preferred
- Ability to Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, lifting to 50lbs, climbing, and working in confined spaces
- Ability to speak and write in proficient English and French preferred
- Experience with resolving product installation issues with end customers
- Knowledge ofgoverning bodies (NEC, IEC, IEEE)concerningproducts
