FACULTY POSITION - SOCIAL STUDIES


Brophy College Preparatory is currently accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in the Social Studies Department beginning in August of 2025.

Possible courses, programs, and activities include:

  • Freshman-level world history
  • U.S. Government
  • Economics
  • Coaching or moderating teams, clubs, or other extracurricular activities
  • Leading retreats, immersion and service trips, and other formation experiences for students



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in disciplines related to social studies and history, with preference given to candidates who have graduate degrees
  • Experience teaching AP-level courses or dual enrollment is highly desirable
  • Experience with and desire to engage in extracurricular activities such as coaching or moderating clubs and activities is highly desirable
  • Brophy is a Catholic, Jesuit college preparatory school and the faculty and staff are committed to living out those values personally and professionally, including the work of anti-racism
