Overview The Hub Operations Agent I is the primary contact within the AIT Middle Mile Network Hub location for all customer service functions, freight inquiries and routing questions. The Hub Operations Agent I responsibilities include communication to the Hub Operations Supervisor of updated business requirements, processing outbound and inbound paperwork in accordance with AIT Worldwide Logistics' policies and procedures and ensuring DOT compliance. As the first contact for all activities within the AIT Middle Mile Hub location, they are the first impression made upon customer, vendors, and other parties. Responsibilities
Process inbound and outbound documents, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies as required.
Qualifications Education * High School Diploma (Required) and * Associate's Degree (Preferred) Experience * less than 1 year Transportation and Logistics, Office Environment. (Required) and * 1+ years General Office Experience (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * General Computer Skills High * Perform all aspects of HUB operations including customer service, dispatch and freight routing. Medium * Ability to prioritize action items in order to determine critical timing for action items of shipment coordination to ensure successful transaction Low * Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Medium Licenses and Certifications * Forklift Certification - Upon Hire (Required) What AIT Can Offer You In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
