Position Summary The Division of Endocrinology is seeking a Medical Research Assistant II (minimum of Sophomore standing student) to assist with a federally funded diabetes research study. This position will perform a variety of clinical research duties to include maintenance of clinic rooms, sample processing and shipping, preparation for clinic visits, data entry, inventory and miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Sophomore standing, with completion of at least 1-2 years of science courses with lab requirements and enrolled in upper division science courses.
  • Ability to pass shipping and human subjects training within 1 month of hire date.
  • Computer and data entry skills, and a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow scientific research protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
