Part time Research Aide, UMKC School of Science & Engineering, Biological and Biomedical Systems

The part time research aide position (25% FTE, 10 hours/week) will assist with:

• Maintain sterility of lab equipment and tools,
• Assist with duties such as filling products, labeling products, testing samples, and taking inventory.
• Have skillset for aliquoting and using proper lab techniques with bacteria growth.
• Maintain aseptic field when collecting biological samples.
• Properly use an autoclave to sterilize equipment.
