The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), a nationally prominent comprehensive college for the performing and media arts, seeks a full-time Assistant Dean of Student Services to start in March 2025. CCM's Assistant Dean for Student Services works to oversee student well-being and ensure that CCM students have access to high-quality programs, resources and services that define the CCM Experience. The Assistant Dean coordinates and oversees CCM's academic advising program, connects students with College- and University-level resources, and evaluates and refines CCM policies and processes to better serve our students. A member of the CCM Dean's Leadership Council, the Assistant Dean for Student Services works closely and collaboratively with the CCM Dean, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the Assistant Dean for Admissions & Enrollment Management, and their staffs to represent student issues and deliver a comprehensive CCM experience that features rigorous artistic and academic work, emphases on health & wellness, and a commitment to making CCM a truly diverse, equitable and inclusive place to teach and learn. Minimum Requirements
Prior to the effective date of the appointment, the successful candidate must have a Master's degree in a relevant field. This could include but is not limited to fields such as education, administration, enrollment management, music, theatre, dance, or media production. Candidates must also have a minimum of five years of experience in college-level student services and support, demonstrating skill in organization, communication, collaborative project management, time management, and conflict resolution. A background in and/or knowledge of the performing arts is preferred. Required Education
