Experienced Senior Consultant with a financial analytics background and proven customer-facing skill set, focused on increasing financial transparency for AHEAD clients. Senior Consultants are on-the-ground analysts collecting, reviewing, interpreting and populating client data into custom-built financial models to help clients make sound business decisions. In partnership with the Principal Financial Consultant, the Senior Consultant acts as liaison between the client, the AHEAD account team, and the various AHEAD services and technical delivery teams.
Senior Consultants are primarily focused on successful delivery of client engagements. They analyze client data and regularly meet with clients throughout consulting engagements to ask questions and provide status updates. They are responsible for the execution of AHEAD's project governance framework and frequent client communications. Senior Consultants periodically engage in the presales process for client-facing presentations and financial model demonstrations. Furthermore, the relationships established during project delivery often result in follow-on engagements, which Senior Consultants play a key role in defining and scoping.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Client Delivery
  • Drive and manage client data collection processes , project requirements gathering, tasks/milestones, status, dependencies, and timelines to ensure engagements are delivered on time and on budget while meeting agreed-upon business objectives
  • Responsible for analysis of financial data to generate a business-as-usual cash flow model for the client. These models are presented iteratively to the client and are adjusted as needed.
  • In partnership with the Principal Consultant, Senior Consultants incorporate technical recommendations from other AHEAD workstreams to test the financial viability of the alternate strategy.
  • Supports Principal Consultant with project executive summaries and project messaging.
  • Business Development
  • Supports Principal Consultants with business development pursuits through internal sales campaigns with AHEAD Client Directors, developing marketing collateral, and client discovery meetings that help qualify opportunities and allow the ideation of a sales proposal
  • Supports Principal Consultant with pipeline and forecast management
  • Represent service offerings during the sales cycle, including project scoping, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients
  • Develop and promote relationships with customers and present technical solutions to C-Level executives
  • Practice Development & Thought Leadership
  • Develop and enhance AHEAD Financial Consulting offerings
  • Serve as thought leader
  • Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the IT marketplace including IT trends, technologies, and standards
  • Mentor to team members
Necessary Skills
  • 5 or more years of Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Accounting Experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Team player
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • FinOps Certification a plus
  • Familiarity with IT Acumen is a plus
