APPLY About The Selander Center for Engineering Leadership The Selander Center for Engineering Leadership at Cornell University is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team of talented, passionate professionals committed to developing engineers' leadership capabilities. The Selander Center for Engineering Leadership offers a variety of transformational programs, including the Engineering Leadership Certification Program and Leadership Skills Clinics, designed to help students grow personally and professionally. Since 2012, the center has established a strong track record of success, resulting in trust and collaboration among stakeholders within and outside the College of Engineering. Cornell Engineering holds the radical view that all engineers need a strong foundation in followership, leadership, teamwork, and ethical communication; and that all engineering students have the right to high-quality personal and professional development as part of their education. We are now in an exciting period of growth in service of our goal to make interpersonal, team, and ethical leadership skills development integral to a Cornell Engineering degree. This is a part-time position based in Ithaca, NY, requiring 25-30 hours per week with a flexible hybrid work arrangement. The typical work schedule will fall within standard business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility in start and end times. Occasional weekend work may be required to support certain programs and events. The Opportunity The part-time Administrative Assistant at the Selander Center for Engineering Leadership will play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring the smooth delivery of programs for future engineering leaders. Responsibilities include managing scheduling and calendars, as well as coordinating meetings and events with faculty, staff, and external partners. This position is vital to the center's operations and its mission to develop the next generation of engineering leaders. The Administrative Assistant will contribute to the efficiency and success of transformational leadership programs. Key Responsibilities:
