Bachelors degree in biomedical or related field plus five (5) years of research experience required.

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Performs molecular biology techniques and gathering results via in vitro and animal experiments.

• Writes manuscripts, protocols, and grants

• Helps oversee lab personnel and assigned students as required, including training and scheduling.

• Participates in procurement, maintenance, and inventory of laboratory equipment/supplies.

• Oversees staff compliance with the numerous University, State, and Federal guidelines for the safe operation of a laboratory.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
