POSITION SUMMARY:

The Account Manager is responsible for all areas of existing customer relations for the Guttman fleet card sales department. Duties include, but are not limited to, communicating with customers on a regular basis, fulfilling customer requests, providing administrative support to the Fleet Solutions Sales Representatives, and developing cross-selling / upselling opportunities for a variety of internal and external products and services

Qualifications

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Communicate regularly with customers to enhance and maintain their business relationships.
  • Prepare periodic formal business reviews for customers.
  • Utilize existing tools to enhance customer experience.
  • Make required changes to existing customer accounts, such as driver identification numbers and adding new vehicles.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries concerning invoice copies, reports, site location assistance, etc., always demonstrating exceptional customer service.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Sales Reps to assist with processing card orders, completing credit applications, prepare invoice analysis for prospects, generating & distributing the weekly and annual reports including any ad-hoc reporting requested by customers from time to time.
  • Monitor and respond to all Fraud Alerts by contacting the customers.
  • Train existing customers in navigation and use of the customer web portal.
  • Cross selling / up selling all products and services to existing customers (i.e. maintenance program, fraud protection, etc).
  • Develop business with existing customers for any cross-referral arrangements we may have with Resellers.
  • Enhancing the existing margin by working with customers to add additional volume or suggesting alternative purchasing options.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the fleet card industry, competitor's product offerings, and the specific fueling needs of trucking companies with 5 to 100 vehicles.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent organization and communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency; experience working in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
